  • Eugene police are investigating a reported gunshot after an apartment dispute and one person is hospitalized.
  • A man is robbed and shot during a Facebook Marketplace meetup in Northeast Portland.
  • A Washington man kidnapped and assaulted his partner before an arrest in Salem.
  • A Kaiser mom is accused of trying to kill her three children with carbon monoxide.
  • There’s evacuation orders issued as wildfire rages in eastern Oregon.
  • Crews rescue a man from the roof of a burning home in Southeast Portland.
  • Cheese bread sold at Costco, Walmart in Oregon and Washington are recalled over salmonella concerns.

In national news:

  • At least 12 are shot near an Ohio festival and a gunman is still at large.
  • Six people are hurt in stabbings at New York’s Penn Station with a suspect in custody.
  • A fight breaks out during a King’s Canyon Unified graduation and five are arrested.
  • A couple is charged after a missing teen is found in a cardboard box.
  • Target baby wipes are found to have bacteria that could cause life-threatening sepsis.
  • A mother walked through a fire to save her three-year-old from a burning apartment.
