Councilor urges neighborhoods to sign up for public comment
Presenter: With this public service announcement, Eugene City Councilor Matt Keating:
Councilor Matt Keating: For those who may not know, this Council has adopted policy that allows for boards, commissions, and neighborhood associations to be at the front of public comment. And yet time and time again, Lin Woodrich (to her credit), Active Bethel Community, is the only voice at the top of these meetings.
So I would encourage you all to go be more connected to your neighborhood associations, be involved in your boards and commissions, and invite those who are to come provide testimony and inform Council about what the respective boards, commissions, and neighborhood associations are working on.
Thank you.
