‘We Are Bethel’ celebration June 8

The Active Bethel Community neighborhood association, Eugene Recreation and the Bethel School District invite you to join the “We Are Bethel” celebration. This fun event for the whole family will be held Saturday, June 8 from noon to 4 p.m. at Petersen Barn Community Center, 870 Berntzen Rd.
The following musicians and dancers will entertain you: Samba Ducks, Taller De Son Jarocho Band, Ballet Folklorico Colibri Dancers, Petersen Barn Dance Performance Group, West African Cultural Arts Institute Band, Cascade/Willamette Mariachi Band and Cascade Middle School Jazz Band and Choir.
For your enjoyment, there will be almost 50 community booths with activities, including a fire truck, Eugene Symphony‘s “instrument petting zoo” inside the Main Hall, three-legged gunny sack races, and a raffle for five $50 gift cards provided by Jerry’s Home Improvement Center.
Come stay for lunch and/or dinner as we will have two food trucks: Calle Steelo Taqueria and Lot Dawgs & two treat trucks: Bea’s Ice Cream and Yeti’s Shaved Ice.
