ESF crews quickly control Bailey Hill Meadows apartment fire
One person was found deceased in a fire Nov. 6 at the Bailey Hill Meadows apartment complex. Eugene Police said the death does not appear criminal in nature.

Eugene Police and Eugene Springfield Fire responded to a fire in the Bailey Hill Meadows apartment complex on Nov. 6, around 7:29 p.m. One apartment was involved and nearby units were evacuated safely.
Fire crews arrived on scene quickly and had the fire under control soon after arrival.
One person was found deceased. At this time, the person’s death does not appear criminal in nature.
The medical examiner responded to the scene and retained the jurisdiction of the deceased.
Some family is out of state and all notifications may not have been made, so the individual’s name is being withheld.
