Join leisurely bicycle tour of Eugene’s world-class murals June 12

Celebrate public art with a bike tour of world-class outdoor murals, right here in Eugene.

Climate Revolutions by Bike leads its latest quarterly “Revolutions Rides” this Sunday, June 12, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The bike tour will begin at Monroe Park, Monroe St. & West 10th Ave., and will follow a leisurely four- to six-mile round-trip route around the city center.

The City of Eugene has sponsored a series of murals to celebrate the International Amateur Athletic Federation (IAAF) World Championships being held in Eugene next month.

The project aims to bring color and life to Eugene’s urban landscape to foster pride and contribute to a sense of identity and features the work of artists from around the world.

Enjoy a slow-paced bike tour of many of these wonderful works.

350 Eugene is sponsoring a new climate-themed mural. With a bit of luck, ride participants will view this new mural in progress and speak with the artist.

Climate Revolutions by Bike’s motivation is to meet great people, share and support a bicycle lifestyle, disrupt the status quo, and build a revolution for the Earth.

Their quarterly (Second Sunday) Revolutions Rides are family-friendly, inclusive, and free.
