I had the opportunity to interview Dan Isaacson recently about the state of mental health care options in Eugene. After suffering a personal tragedy he decided to get involved, and has been organizing and advocating to bring about changes that he says will help not only people suffering from mental health issues, but also dramatically improve outcomes for people who experience traumatic events such as the loss of a loved one. Dan has done a lot of research to discover what is and isn’t working. Join us as he shares some of what he’s learned as well as what he’s working to accomplish.
