Rev. Keith Archuleta brings the words of Dr. King to life

Rev. Keith Archuleta brought the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to life at an LCC celebration Jan. 14. The featured keynote speaker was Dr. Robert Bullard, father of the environmental justice movement.

The father of environmental justice, Dr. Robert Bullard, gave a powerful keynote speech for the Lane Community College MLK Day celebration, held by Zoom on Jan. 14. Many local community leaders also participated in the program. Today we feature Rev. Keith Archuleta, who brought the words of Dr. King to life.

Rev. Archuleta’s presentation seamlessly weaved passages from many of Dr. King’s most important speeches and writings, from Riverside Church and the 1963 March on Washington, to his Letter from Birmingham Jail and his fourth and final book, Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community.
